Saw the
movie Kalki, wow. What a wonderful martial arts film! Director Nag Ashwin has
taken Indian cinema to a different level. Heartfelt congratulations to my dear
friend Ashwini Dutt, Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas Raju, Kamal Haasan, Deepika
Padukone and the team of Kalki. The second part is eagerly awaited.
These words

'Kalki 2898 AD'.

the history of Indian cinema. The film was simultaneously released in several
regional languages along with Hindi and English, and according to Indian
media reports, it grossed around 95 crores across India in one day.
From the
people Rajinikanth has congratulated, you must have guessed how many big names
are in the cast of this film.
The film also
stars Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, who was named the greatest actor of the
century in a poll. While Prabhas is the one whose films like Baahu Bulli set
several records.

while actress Deepika Padukone needs no introduction.
Many f have been made on India's epic epic Mahabharata and a major serial has also been created on it. This story is the plot of the film and its characters are the basis of this film
The story
of the film
The story
swings back and forth sometimes in the past and sometimes in the future. As the
title of the film 'Kalki 2898 AD' suggests and thus it can be said to be a
sequel to the story of Mahabharata.
The film
begins with the legendary Kurukshetra battle between the Kurus and the
Pandavas. The film uses modern technology to show what happens 6000 years after
the end of the war.
According to
Hinduism, Kalki is their Lord who is yet to come to earth and is called the
tenth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. In this film, he is the child born to Deepika
Padukone. Ashwathama (Amitabh Bachchan) fights to save Kalki. Actor Kamal
Haasan plays the role of Yaskin, a villain who stands in the way of Amitabh
Bachchan.
Kashi is the
last city in the world where there is neither food nor any source of life like
drinking water. Yaskin keeps them all under his control in a pyramid-like
complex that is inaccessible to the common man.
The story
revolves around the hero of the film Bhairu (Prabhas) who he sides with.
Ashwatthama's or Yaskan's. And does good triumph over evil at the end of the
film?
Many fans
say that this movie is Prabhas' big comeback after Baahubali. Bhairu's
character adds humor to the film. Bhiru's AI driven vehicle is the Bhoji. Actress
Keerthy Suresh has lent her voice to this vehicle.
Deepika
Padukone (Samthi) plays a woman whose child is believed to be Kalki, the 10th
incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and whom evil forces want to kill. Before the film
was named Kalki, the film was titled 'Project K'.
Kamal
Haasan's name was suggested by Amitabh
Before the film's release, the filmmakers said that they had to work hard to get Kamal Haasan in the film. Kamal Haasan has played the role of on
e of the main characters 'Yaskin' in the film.
The filmmakers
said that Amitabh Bachchan chose Kamal Haasan for the role because he wanted
someone stronger than Prabhas for the role.
While Kamal
Haasan said that when there are actors like Amitabh and Prabhas in the film,
then what will I do? Crews associated with the film said that they waited for a
year for Kamal Haasan to act in the film.
Talking to
the media, Prabhas joked that Kamal Haasan must be thinking 'why are you
bothering me, leave me alone'.
According to
reports, Kamal Haasan has dubbed for this film in all languages.
The film is
three hours and one minute long. In the first half it introduces Bhairava and
who Bhairava is. After that, the story revolves around Asutthama, Bhairava and
Smiti in quick passing scenes.
Kamal Haasan
appears on screen for only half an hour. However, fans who watched the film
told BBC Tamil that her role is very interesting.
