Australi a defeated Bangladesh by 28 runs under the Dickworth Louis system in the Super 8 stage of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

The Bangladesh team batted first and scored 140 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

In reply, Australia had to score 100 runs in 11.2 overs under the Dick Worth Louis system, which the team got only two wickets.

Australia decided to field first by winning the toss against Bangladesh, while batting first, Bangladesh captain Najam Hussein scored 41 off 36 balls, Tawheed Raday scored 40 off 28 balls and Luton Das scored 16 runs.

Australian bowler Pete Cummins scored 29 runs and Adam Zampa scored 24 for 24, while Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stiines and Glenn Maxwell took 1-1.

Australia achieved a target of 141 runs by Bangladesh.

In the T20 World Cup, Australia and Bangladesh teams in the Super Eight Stage Group A are competing for the 44th match of the event, Sir Wyon Richards Cricket Stadium.

The match was delayed for some time due to rain in the match being played in the North Sound of Antigova.

It should be noted that the World Cup Super 8 -stage Group A includes India, Afghanistan, Australia and Bangladesh, while Group B includes teams from England, South Africa, the United States and the West Indies.
