According to the Reuters news agency, according to Hamas-affiliated media and Ismail Haniyeh's family, Haniyeh's three sons were killed in an Israeli airstrike.

Ismail Haniyeh confirmed the death of his sons in an interview with Al Jazeera, saying that Israel was acting out of revenge and murder.

Hamas says Haniya's three sons, Hazm, Amir and Muhammad, were killed in a car bombing in Gaza's al-Shati camp. Hamas media reported that two of Haniya's grandchildren were also killed in the attack while one was injured
