In this regard, the 20 teams participating in the tournament have been divided into four groups. Each group consists of five teams who will play each other in the first stage and then the top two teams in each group will advance to the Super Eight stage.

The eight teams that reach the Super Eight stage will compete against each other and the top four teams will advance to the final stage, the knockout stage, where the winner of the tournament will be selected after two semi-finals and then the final.

When and where will the T20 World Cup matches

be played and how can you watch them?

This time, since the World Cup is being held in America and West Indies, some matches will be played during the day and some in the evening/night so that fans from different countries can enjoy these matches at their convenience.

In the group stage, the first match of the Pakistani team will start at 7:30 PM local time, while the remaining three matches will start at 8:30 PM.

If Pakistan reaches the semi-final, then the semi-final will be played on June 27.

Tournament Schedule

Nassau County Stadium on Captionlong Island, pictured, is a temporary stadium built specifically for the tournament.

A total of 55 matches will be played in this tournament. The first stage matches will be played between June 1 and June 18.

Pakistan's first match is scheduled on June 6 against the USA. After that, the teams of India and Pakistan will come forward on June 9.

Pakistan's third match against Canada is scheduled for June 11, while in the group stage, Pakistan will face Ireland on June 16 in their last match.

The Super Eight stage will start from June 19 and after the last match of this stage on June 25, the semi-finalist teams of the tournament will be revealed.

The semi-final of the T20 World Cup will be played on June 27 and the final on June 29.

Where will the matches be played?

Pakistan will play all their group-stage matches in the USA. The first match will be held at the Grand Priory Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York has been selected for the second and third matches, while the final match will be played at Central Broward Park in Lauderhill, Florida.

Nassau County Stadium is located in Long Island. It is a temporary stadium specially designed for this tournament and has a capacity of 34 thousand spectators. The pitch on which the matches will be played in this stadium is made of Australian clay.

The stadiums that will host the matches in the West Indies include the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda, the Darren Sammy Stadium in St. Lucia and the Arnos Whaley Stadium, in Kingstown.

Apart from this, one semi-final of the tournament will be played at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad, while the other semi-final will be hosted at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.

The final match of the tournament will be held at the historic Kensington Oval in Barbados.

What if it rains?

As always, the Duckworth-Lewis method will be used to find the result in case of rain in this tournament.
