Breakfast Cereals

Despite the beautiful design and eye-catching packaging, most baby cereals contain large amounts of sugar. When buying cereals, read the label carefully and buy a cereal that is low in sugar.

Flavored yogurt

Flavored yogurt is offered as a nutritious snack, but it contains a large amount of sugar. Fruit flavored yogurt should be avoided as it contains added sugar.

In the same vein, use plain yogurt and make it naturally sweet by adding fruits etc.

Fruit juice

Fruit juice seems to be very good for health, but it contains a lot of sugar. Even if fruit juice is 100% fruit, drinking too much of it can have harmful effects on health.

Granola bar

Granola bars are considered a convenient and healthy snack, but granola bars sometimes contain added sugars and fats. Store-bought granola bars contain chocolate chips, honey, and other sweeteners that can lead to weight gain if eaten in excess.

Ketchup

Ketchup, barbeque sauce, mayonnaise, etc. are high in sugar. When shopping, choose products that are high in natural ingredients or make your own at home.

Packaged food

Popular fruit snacks and other sweet and sour snacks for children contain large amounts of sugar that are not visible. When buying packaged baby food, choose products that are very low in sugar.
