for the April 1 attack.

Security Council.

to "unequivocally condemn Iran and take immediate action to designate
Iran's Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization."

recognizes the inherent right of a member of the United Nations to
self-defense, whether armed or not, in the event of an armed attack. is gone,
unless the Security Council takes such measures as may be necessary to maintain

The American
diplomat said that the Security Council has the responsibility to hold Iran
accountable for its actions.
"Iran
has long violated its international legal obligations by arming Hezbollah
through the Revolutionary Guards, facilitating and supporting Houthi attacks on
Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates," he added. Enabling and
recently supporting the elements behind attacks on merchant ships in the Red
Sea is the same force.
The US

funding from Iran, which attacked Israel on October 7.

the United States will take more measures to hold Iran accountable in the
United Nations.
The US
delegate called on the Security Council to unequivocally condemn Iran's attack
and demand that "its partners and proxies cease attacks".
The Israeli
delegate compared Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei to Germany's Hitler and said
that he attacked Saudi Arabia, Aramco oil facilities and the United Arab
Emirates to establish a Shia hegemony in the world. He sees it as an obstacle
to his goal.'
